Python Job: Front End Developer - Python, Java, DevOps

Front End Developer - Python, Java, DevOps for our Zurich / Bern based client in the telecommunications sector.

Your tasks:

• Building and working with REST APIs as well as creating Infrastructure-as-code
• Implementing monitoring and alerting capabilities to ensure site reliability
• Creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to enable automated deployment of applications
• Analysing issues in production environments while also participating in root cause analysis and postmortems
• Designing and documenting procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
• Proposing improvements to the overall environment and toolsets

Your experience/knowledge:

• 3+ years' experience delivering complex distributed systems, using DevSecOps best practices
• Expertise with Docker and Kubernetes along with knowhow in Git and modern development workflows
• Proficiency in scripting with shell, bash, or python
• Familiarity with relational and document-based databases
• Higher degree in computer science, or related discipline is beneficial
• Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken, German is a plus

• Team player with excellent communication skills and an analytical mindset
• Strong problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail
